For our last full day in Vilamoura, Eoghan and I got up early to do a cave and dolphin safari. It was brilliant. For the first half, we explored the coast of Portugal and went in and out of the caves and sea stacks. The two tour guides told us about all the towns we passed along the way.
Portugal Photodiary
Faced my fear of flying once again for a family holiday to Portugal. We stayed in a villa in Vilamoura and it was awesome. Unfortunately we only had 3 nights / 2 1/2 days but that was better than nothing.
Our final stop on our trip of Kerry was Dingle. I’ve heard so much about this little town but have never been. Sadly we didn’t get to see Fungi the dolphin but still had a great time. We explored the Dingle peninsula as well.
Tetrapod Trackway Valentia Island
If you saw my Part 1, you’ll know Eoghan and I headed back to Kerry for a weekend. After our little wander around Portmagee we crossed the bridge over to Valentia Island. The scenery was absolutely stunning. We parked up at the base of Bray head and took in the views. The sky was the perfect shade of blue with the fluffiest clouds.
