In Ireland, you will be absolutely torn for places to visit. Having explored this country top to bottom, I thought I’d share my Ireland must see places, for an adventure-packed trip. Perfect for a weekend away.
Another weekend meant another drive to Donegal. Although an unpleasent panic attack set in during the journey up, I shook off the ripples of anxiety that always follow, and got on with my weekend.
Ireland is two weeks into a heatwave. Hadn’t seen Eoghan in a couple of weeks, so with him coming for a visit, we wanted to make the most of the good weather. We went to Glendalough. We’d been before but it was overcast and cool, so we wanted to experience it in the sun. It was packed. The temperature was soaring but I think it was a good call, walking through the woods, you’re in and out of the shade so you don’t roast!
It’s road trip season! Not saying you cant get into your car and explore at any time of year, in fact I encourage you. But we all know, Summer entices you to travel and now that the temperatures are soaring, I have a few tips to help you avoid any unnecessary road trip stress.
A couple of weeks ago, me and Eoghan did another bit of Wild Atlantic Way exploring. I’ve just realised, almost all my posts have been on WAW road trips, so for those of you who don’t know what it is, the Wild Atlantic Way is a driving route along the entire Atlantic coast of Ireland, starting in west Cork all the way to Donegal.
