Photo dump from the weekend!

Started off in Galway 📌 and decided to try some new food places. I normally go back to the same few places I love, but I was determined to venture out !

🌟 Had a delicious brunch in @delarestaurant , so glad to finally tick this place off my list!

🌟 Had to go back to my fav dinner spot - @highcafegalway for Morrocan. My fav is the vegetable couscous and pita bread 😍

🌟 Tried @thedoughbros for the first time too 🙌 It did live up to the hype! 🍕

Me and Eoghan normally stick to outdoorsy activities but decided to spend this weekend eating and drinking instead. I was pretty happy about that!

For drinks we went with :

🍺 The Quays @quaysbargalway
🍺 The Skeff @theskeffbar

Had such a good time being back in Galway again. After living there over 7 years, it will always be home!

Ahh Donegal, this is why you're favourite!

Love every trip to Inishowen, especially the ones where me and @eoghan_bell do the rounds visiting all the scenic places.

I couldn't tell you which is my favorite view, is it the view from mamore gap, or the view down across Five Fingers Strand? I just couldn't say 😅

Things I miss about Galway :

1. Strolling around the city and just enjoying the atmosphere
2. Walks along the canal
3. The food and treats
4. Boojum in particular - there's no burritos in the Midlands 🌯 😭😅
5. Chilling and people watching in Eyre Square or at Spanish arch
6. The beach
7. How pretty it all is

Bonus thing I miss - How safe it is, in the last couple of weeks my small hometown has had 3 stabbings and a hostage situation, christ above 😅

Well I can't wait for the weather to improve once again! We got a little taster a couple of weeks ago and honesty, don't think I can do many more hikes in the bitter blustery winds.

Lately every time I hike, the wind is so bad that it almost feels like when you stick your head out a car window and can't breathe with the air rushing at your face. You know the feeling I'm talking about?

I just want to saunter up a mountain at a slow pace without a gazillion layers on. You too? Please Ireland 🙏 😅

Killarney photo dump 2 😅

From a beautiful early morning dip in the freezing waters near @muckross.house.killarney to the sunny streets of the town. We spent most of the day wandering around @killarneyhouseandgardens, checking out the photography and park exhibits and of course, enjoying the sunshine ☀ As well as the insane views of the purple mountains.

After that a few drinks were had. While I stuck to my good aul reliable the day before at the Wild Hooley, @eoghan_bell discovered a new fav drink so we headed to @killarneybrewingdistilling to enjoy a few! [PR Trip]

Would you believe we are back to kerry again at the end of the week? We can't stay away 😅

Why is it that a lake seems SO MUCH COLDER than the ocean? 🥶

Twice in 2022 i have dipped in a lake and twice I have felt a brain freeze sensation in my feet within seconds 😂 I started going in the ocean this time last year and it just wasn't THAT cold 😅

I'm not complainin though, I have become somewhat addicted to cold water. Some of you will know what I mean I'm sure!? Now that I don't live by the coast, I have to make do with cold showers before bed, which works to an extent but it's just not the same as a shockingly cold hug from the sea 🌊 Who knew that could be so comforting?!

Do ya agree.. Cold water, a 👍 or a 👎??

My first massive photo dump from @wanderwildfestival . I am going to be working my way through the pictures and footage for quite some time I think! The joys of having 3 cameras, a smartphone and a drone, I am sworn off buying any new gear for the foreseeable future 😂📸 📱

What a fantastic weekend in one of my favourite places, with the ☀ best ☀ weather you could ever hope for in Ireland. I was thrilled to experience the first year of the outdoor festival which is aimed at all all you wanderers out there - I’m sure a lot of you relate! 🚵🚣

Had the most delicious meal in @the_porterhouse_killarney on our first night and had my first "drink" in a year. I think I chose widely with this Rasberry Bramble 🤩

Visited Donegal for the first time in a long time a couple of weeks ago.

@eoghan_bell and I spent the day driving around to some of the most scenic spots, places he brought me to on my first trip to visit him over 5 years ago!

From Mamore Gap to Glenevin Waterfall, Kinnagoe Bay to Malin, I can confidently say its one of my favorite places in 🇮🇪

Mustn't leave it too long before the next visit 😅

Have you ever been to the @voyaseaweedbaths?

It has been on my list for the last 5 years and me and @maria_f345 finally took a trip there a few weeks ago!

It was honestly such a fun experience. We recently watched Wild Child with @elizabethkeenanx and if you've watched that movie, you'll know the scene where they are all having baths in the one room 🛀 🛀.

We were literally saying how cool that would be, and so me and maria were living our Wild Child Dreams!

Also, my frizzy hair was smooth as butter afterwards!! I’ll definitely be returning.

What a location. Walking out to this incredible view just added to an already great day!

When I was a child my family used to go to Killarney every year and its a habit I've taken up again the last 6 years, it never disappoints!
