It’s easy to forget what’s important. Staying in the moment can be the hardest thing in the world. Keeping out the distractions or the shit aspects of every day life can really start weighing you down and effect your daily happiness. If like me you have not grasped the concept of “compartmentalizing”, sometimes just a little reminder of your importance can be enough to pull you back into the present moment. Having little reminders to pull you back to yourself can be really helpful in getting better at mindfulness and making sure you don’t get too weighed down by the things going on around you. A job making you unhappy, or stressful things happening in your life can really take their toll on your mental health. Why not incorporate some of these quotes into your daily life?

Sometimes we don’t think its okay to put ourselves first or do what is right for us. Society can make us feel selfish for believing our own worth and these quotes can remind you that isn’t true.

I have my favorite quote saved as my screensaver on my phone so every time I pick it up or someone messages me, I see it and am reminded of what is important. Why not do that? Other ways could be having a motivational quote as your computer wallpaper, have a plaque with your favorite quote on your desk at work. Do you like art? Draw out a quote that makes you feel better on a canvas and hang it on your wall. What ever works for you.
