If there’s one thing I’ve learned from traveling around Ireland, it’s that this country is full of insanely romantic places to stay. Over the years, I’ve been lucky enough to find some absolute gems—spots that are perfect for couples looking to escape, relax, and make some unforgettable memories together. If you’re looking for Unique Places To Stay In Ireland For Couples, this is the one for you!

In this post, I’m sharing some of my favourite romantic Airbnbs in Ireland. From cosy cabins with private hot tubs to glamping domes under the stars, these are the kind of places that make you want to slow down, soak up the magic, and just be.

Goleen Harbour – Unique stays Ireland – Airbnb

This spot is an absolute gem is on the rugged edge of West Cork – just under 2 hours from Cork City. I’ve stayed twice now and certainly wouldn’t turn down another chance to visit! It might just be the most romantic Airbnb in Ireland. While there are two types of glamping pods, I recommend the geodomes for a unique stay for couples.

The dome faces the Atlantic and are perched on the edge of some cliffs. It’s a gorgeous sunset location and the most MAGICAL part? There’s a star-gazing hatch in the ceiling. So you can fall asleep under the starlit sky!

There’s also a prime star-watching spot in the outdoor hot tub! Yep, you can book out the hot tub or sauna during your stay.

It’s an eco-friendly campsite—so it’s the perfect way to reconnect with nature! With sustainability being a big part of everything there. They use solar power, compost toilets and sources for the site were sourced locally. 10,000 native Irish trees have been planted on-site to support wildlife also.

Killarney Glampng – Nice places to stay in Ireland for couples

Killarney Glamping is another place I’ve gone back to again and again. It’s the perfect escape, especially for couples. This site has a few different styles of stay too. Of course, for couples, they have the Romantic Glamping Suite which is designed for couples. Your suite includes a full-size double bed which opens out to views of a meadow. There’s a surprisingly big bathroom within the suite and kitchen, with outdoor cooking facilities too.
It’s so lovely to sit out on your deck after dark and play some board games under the stars.
What I love is, the beds have electric blankets in case you are worried about feeling chilly and board games are provided.
And, of course, it’s Kerry, so there’s no shortage of things to see and do while you’re there. It’s just one of those places that never disappoints. Highly recommend this one for a romantic little escape!

The Oaks Luxury Lodges – Unusual places to stay in Ireland

The Oaks Luxury Lodges is just less than 20 minutes from Derry City Centre. If you’re planning a romantic weekend away this is a really good one for couples. Each cabin has their own private hot tub. IAND cold plunge. t’s soooo nice. So if you’re looking for a nice place to stay in Ireland for couples with a hot tub, this is it!

If you want to chill you can stick to your cabin but if you’re in the mood for a bit of an adventure there’s lots to do.f Want a bit of a thrill? There is also an adventure centre on site, zipline anyone? You’ve got access to one of Ireland’s longest walking paths, with loads of trails and five beautiful woods nearby to explore.

The cabins have such warm cosy vibes and it’s one I would also love to return to. A great base for exploring more of Northern Ireland.
